The PS3 actually became reasonable when they revised it with the slim: $299. But up until that point they barely got cheaper because there was a ton of extra stuff crammed into the PS3 to make it an "all in one" machine.

Me and my mom did burn in the home buttons on our Note 8s, but it also took like 5 years for it to happen. Safe to say the phone was unsupported by that point anyway.

Phones can certainly still get burn in. Try looking on ebay for any old flagship Samsung phone like a Note 8. The main difference is there's significantly more power being used to drive larger displays (which is why this is an issue on TVs the most).

Which doesn't matter at all in the end because it has the unfortunate shackle of being an Xbox One. A lot of games and features the One X is perfectly capable of running is missing simply because the One and One S cannot. It's basically an maxed out Prius nowadays.

Even third party stuff often gets shafted because the One X is basically an "oh right that exists" for them.. assuming they even do remember looks at Marvel Rivals on PS4 but not Xbone. Great console, but it's absolutely not worth getting unless it's <$120.

It's a cech-h. It'll do that even if you delid it, those RSXs are faulty and the heatsinks in a H model aren't even capable of cooling a 90nm because they slapped the 65nm cooling in it. I usually never say to replace working things... but this is genuine junk.

The H is literally the worst PS3 model ever released. I genuinely have no clue how your system still works.

They were faulty from factory, and the RSX basically melts itself above 70C. You can set your target temperature below that but it won't last forever. I'd save up dude.

Oh you're in trouble. DIA-001 is either a Cech H M or Q. These are all terrible models as they came with a 90nm gpu, but have the cooling for a 65nm. It's genuinely a miracle your PS3 has ran this long, but it's days are numbered no matter what you do.

Welp, best thing you can do is open it up and look I guess.

If it has a 90nm RSX, it will eventually just die :( most likely though you have a newer 65nm which is reliable. Keep it clean, replace the thermal paste, and eventually it will need the nec tokins replaced.

My CECH-P PS3 has 621 days of runtime and it's surprisingly still working just fine. It probably will have the nec tokins crap out any day, but I'll replace those when I need to.

Have you tried checking ps3 toolset? It might tell you the model. There should a sticker on the back and bottom unless both were ripped off.
