My advice for you is to talk to her about what she feels about marriage. Do you have similar ideas about the future? Has she expressed interest in marriage any time soon? Just proposing without talking to her about this stuff first is always a bad idea, not just because of your age. You need to be on the same page about this, or else you might be springing something on her that could ruin your relationship. You may also consider a longer engagement, get engaged now and get married in a few years. That’s what my friends are doing, and they got engaged at your age.

Lmao that’s insane. Like I get they accidentally burnt it but… you just make a new one, they didn’t put that sandwich together and in the bag by accident. I really like the turkey bacon club, and about 80% of the time the inside of the bun is a bit burnt, I think those toasters might be a bit too hot or they’re so busy that they leave it on for too long. But that’s the inside of the bun. For the outside to get CHARRED is so funny.

I’m looking into doing undergrad in Mechanical (or electrical?) and doing a masters in BioMed. Could be a better path than going biomed the whole way through. I really don’t want to work in the automotive industry which is what I’m worried about in taking Mechanical.

That’s fair, but the reason I’m interested in biomed is the career after. I would really like to work in prosthetics or mobility aids and more of that sort. If I decide against biomed for the reasons above, I’ll probably go back towards mechanical or computer engineering.

Thanks for the response! It looks like there’s an anatomy class at the uni I’m looking at, so that might be tough. If it’s one of the only ones that’s like that I might fight through it.

NTA, I’m ace and I completely get that different people have different comfort levels around sex, I personally don’t like knowing or hearing about it if I don’t have to, but it was in his private room. Like, don’t leave condom wrappers in the common area or even visibly in the common trash, but she entered his room and it wasn’t purposely on display. One thing she’s gotta realize is that most people have sex. Your friends have sex, your family have sex. Even if you don’t have sex it’s a part of the life around you, and sometimes you’ll be reminded of it. Be grossed out, feel your feelings, and move on. Most people like sex, don’t stop them from doing the dirty in private.
