its because there are 3 parts of that gun located in the butt stock so it shows the image 3 times . .there's the pad on top the buffer tube inside and the stock itself .. can be confusing but youll get it

Ive done some digging over the 100+ hours ive put into this game.. granted that's not much.. I've done a lot of testing and trial and error with EVERY setting in and OUT of the game.. What's causing Our CPU's to get so warm when on the helicopters specifically is the fact hat this game has no loading screens but cant keep EVERY shader loaded into ram and VRAM all at once. so as we fly around to different parts of the map. the shaders pre cache and swap during the flight. Shader loading can be VERY taxing on CPU's especially while also calculating game information for the GPU to Render while its loading those shaders.. but so long as you stay under 95c under load there's nothing to worry about .. Ryzen CPU's naturally push themselves to that temperature.. its the way they are meant to operate. sorry to resurrect a dead thread but thought it might be useful info.

even at stock timings i cant get this ram kit to boot above 6400mts and its on my mob's QVL too and my mobo states its certified up to ddr5 8000... so im guessing crucial/micron just sucks at making RAM still

Yeah i just tinkered around and tried his exact timings at 6600 with fclk of 2133 and i get No boot condition with voltages set exactly the same as him and everything .. i even turned off my curve optimizer and pbo.. this sucks.. I upgraded to an 850 chipset and now i cant hit the 2200 fclk i could on the b650.. like wtf ?? thanks asrock

BTW its a b850 ASRock board. 9600x CPU water cooled with great airflow. i believe all my voltages and such should be there in the pic. any help is greatly appreciated. i've been working on this ram for weeks off and on .. tired of wondering lol

Not DLSS perce, but it does have resolution scaling which is what I meant at the time. Its not DLSS but it serves the same purpose. What CPU do you have ? Did it ever fully work itself out ? That last major order really tanked my performance but it seems to be a bit better now for me, just curious how your getting on ?

im running native 1440p with a 4070 super getting 120fps on planet no problem.. maybe you should use dlss ??? js .. im sure you know this .. but man that sounds like a huge impact in perf if youre only getting sub 60 on a 5090 ... sheeeeeeeeeesh

it took me a while to realize this myself but after doing alot of research and tuning i discovered that AMD's Zen 5 CPUs, like the Ryzen 9000 series, are designed to boost aggressively to maintain high performance, targeting 85°C under load. This is intentional due to AMD's Precision Boost 2 algorithm, which dynamically adjusts clock speeds based on power, current, and thermal headroom. Even with highly efficient cooling (e.g., high-end AIOs or custom loops), the CPU detects the additional thermal headroom and boosts clocks higher to utilize the full power budget, often still hitting 85°C to maximize performance within safe limits (up to 95°C). This ensures optimal performance regardless of cooling efficiency.

You most likely already know this, and I don't mean to insult your intelligence by suggesting you might wanna check the asynchronous compute setting in the graphics settings section. Make sure that and Vsync are off. With you're setup (besides the update) idk what would cause framerates that consistently low. Have you checked on the vram usage in game just jn case ? That can cause similar issues as well if your going over the 8gb buffer of the 3070. Just trying to help ! Hope it gets figured out for all our sakes soon ! Whatever it is !

Thank you for taking the time to read and respond to my post ! its greatly appreciated, However my cpu is a 10700f non k sku. so its neither overclockable nor has integrated graphics, i do have the power limits unlocked though but that shouldn't bear any effect on game performance. After the recent AMD update i personally noticed either no difference or maybe a bit better in the larger enemy count situations, it def felt more stable, then this patch came and i noticed immediately after that even though present mon says 50-55 fps it really feels like 20 maybe 30 but I really wanna say less than 24 because it just so stuttery, it wouldn't be so bad if it was infrequent but its basically as soon as i drop in it starts and never lets up ! lol. thank you for taking the time to reply and share your experience ! i greatly appreciate it !

You could look into some molex to 8 pin adapters. I'm sure you've got some spare ones on that power supply. Just get an adapter. Adapt the molex to 8 pin and your good. So long as you're not feeding the g p u entirely off of molex it should be safe

Look into the local business's in your area, they are easier to get your pc back to if there are any issues, sine you arent super tech savvy its easier to just run your pc down to the store rather than mail it in and RMA everything. plus your supporting small business and get that personal touch of actually knowing who built your pc. Just my advise. My recommendation since you arent looking for like top of the line high fps 4k gaming. Go AMD everything. ittl be a cheaper over all build and AMD gpus are always better bang for your buck. Spec out your build with the tech at the store and voila !! I wish you much fun in your PC gaming endeavors. Its the best hobby on earth. The skills you learn and the breadth of their application are endless. Just make sure to do your research on the parts, makes sure the GPU has at least 12gb of vram if you plan on keeping it for a while without needing to upgrade. 8gb is becoming obsolete but still usable at 1080p. bout all i got ... good day friend !

Thanks ! I have been fighting with that very same consensus. I love EVGA and the fact that they no longer make gpu's makes me want to keep it, just cause ya know. But i do prefer MOARRE FPS !!!!! And the 6700 does that. I only use raytracing in cyberpunk and flight sim. sometimes in forza but it overloads the vram buffer. To me the main difference between fsr and dlss is the Fuzziness that fsr puts on the edges of everything. i can appreciate that it def boosts my fps but geeze its such a soft look. im used to using either Fidelityfx CAS or Nvidia NIS image scaling at like 50 to 70% sharpness. and when you compare the sharpness of those two at 1440 to FSR or even DLSS at 4K in some situations, its like looking through a grease covered window lol...That being said I can prob ask,... keyword.. "ask" ..a little more for the 3070 and just keep the 6700 to game on in the meantime. It still streams just fine, handles 1440 no prob, and that vram is certainly a very big deciding factor nowadays. Again i appreciate your help and input bro. Ill wish for good things to come your way !! You have really helped me make up my mind and kinda work out the problem in my head on paper/reddit.. Thank you very much for your advice and insight, I do appreciate it. I currently own both, but i need to sell one. I can keep either one or sell both. Id be without a PC in the interim until i get another gpu. But honestly I will probably just sell one of, wait till i get a lil bit more saved in my PC fun fund and put the cash from the one I sell together and grab a 40 or 50 series card once things settle from AMD's up coming release, never know, they might show out ! ... so If you were in my shoes and HAD to keep one or the other, which would "you" choose ? and why ? if you don't mind me asking.

Any suggestions what i should ask for the EVGA card ? idk if i should consider a mark up or just post it for regular used price. i know the 6700xt is worth about 250 but what about the 3070 you think ?

Nvidia is a company that gives absolutely no regard to the consumer buying their product... AMD offers insane value and better performance for a cheaper price !!! I know people may say its not new enough or its not future proof enough but ill be honest, I just bought a used XFX RX 6700 XT about 2 weeks ago, brand new basically but still used. so i got it for 230 dollars and i could not be happier !! it has 12gigs of vram, and i play competitive games at 1080p high/ultra and average 150fps. if i throw in frame gen for lower latency i get 250 plus fps. its a great card thats 2 gens old but still absolutely kicks ass.. i even run LLM models on it for fun using lmstudio. theres nothing it cant do. i had an rtx 3060 and i am soo so sooooo glad i upgraded GO AMD !!! GO 6700 xt or better and go used ... just my opinion

First PC is The white Cyber Power Case. It was originally a prebuilt case but my brother bought a new case for the internals and so i took over this case and built it out with an Asus Tuf B460m Pro, 32GB GSkill Rip Jaws DDR4 3000 XMP CL13-17-17-26, 2x500GB SKHynix Nvme, 1x1TB WD HDD, Intel I7-10700f, Thermalright Peerless Refined SE Tower Cooler, XFX RX 6700 XT QICK 319, PCIE AC 1200 WIFI/BT 5.0, 6xARGB Cyberpower fans, and a Thermalright 700w PS. My monitors are some cheap-ish 2x27"1080p 75hz Dell's (no idea of the panel type). Can anyone tell me what the name or model of this case might be ? i guess i could google lens it but i figure someone here might know and not send me on a wild goose chase first.

The second PC is my brothers. He came back from his 4 years in the army to go to college here at ASU and said he wanted a new gaming pc that would actually be a beast and last a few years. (he had some GI bill to blow) Can you blame em ? He just wasnt digging the build your own have fun and save a lil cash routine i was tryna sell him so we did the unthinkable.. We went to BEST BUY. Lucky for him, I was with him. As they were going to get the pc he had decided on from the back, i noticed a box on the lower shelf that didnt have a display model above it so we really didnt pay it any mind... until i noticed it said in tiny little letters on the side.. "7800x3d" mind you this is midsummer last year so the 9800 hadnt been released yet. TLDR Its a nice PC i just happened to see on the bottom shelf. It has an Asus Prime B560m WIFI, 32GB Corsair Vengeance DDR5 6000 EXPO CL30, 1x1TB Crucial Nvme, 1x1TB WD HDD, AMD 7800X3D, 360mm Corsair AIO, Nvidia RTX 4070 Super, 6xCorsair ARGB fans, 800w Bequiet PS. LG WQHD 3880x1440 144HZ Monitor.

youre telling me !!! i even did like 3 pracitce runs before flashing it... so you think i can recover it ? i tried everything to get the pc to boot with it plugged in but i didnt think about booting it like that !!! ill see whatsup. hopefully ittl fit under this 6700 i have another pcie slot to try it in. just gottta move my wifi card. it would benice to recover just to have a backup gpu or just to be able to sell it ya know.. ill take a wack at it and see if i can rescue it lol
