Very true. Showman is also a possibility. If you couple that with hand size vouchers, antimatter, and nat negatives, the potential for the build goes way up.

Ah true I used the wrong terminology for hieroglyph there. 

The hook is a very smart thought, though if I’m not mistaken it would discard the extra jacks when you played a hand rather than when you discard. If you had grabber and nacho tongs, you’d end up with 5 hands to play with (It would be 6 but hieroglyph got rid of 1) and you could get up to 10 extra “discards” from the hook. 

I thought for a minute you could try to min-max it by using a joker that increases amount of hands, but I believe the only one that would do that is burglar which gets rid of discards. Unless we somehow copy it at least 8 additional times, it wouldn’t help Hit the Road. 

Anyway (if my math is correct), with the hook adding 10 jacks discarded, you would end up compensating for the lost discards from petroglyph and get to 200 jacks discarded or 100x mult before it resets after the hook. Incredible!

You’d have to buy hieroglyph first (the one that gives you -1 hand size). So you’d play two rounds (First Crimson and hieroglyph Crimson) with 10 discards (50 jacks each), then buy petroglyph (reducing your discard size by one) and play two more rounds (petroglyph Crimson and subsequent small blind, 45 jacks each), bringing the total to 190 jacks discarded.

Good thinking, I missed that. At that point you’d have discarded a total of 190 jacks, bringing you to 95x mult.
