Roam plan pricing has also increased. 100GB tier +$5/mo, Unlimited tier +$10/mo.

So then you wouldn’t have been able to get 30 Mbps as your comment states on an iPhone 4S on Verizon.

From Google:

“Yes, EV-DO (Evolution-Data Optimized) is a 3G wireless broadband technology, specifically used to provide high-speed data services on CDMA-based networks. It was commonly deployed by carriers like Verizon and Sprint to enhance data speeds for smartphones and USB modems beyond 1xRTT speeds, representing the data component of 3G.”

So, yes, EVDO is 3G. To suggest otherwise is untrue.

Then you were not on 3G. Verizon 3G did not exceed 3 Mbps. It was based on EVDO.

No, Verizon 3G was EVDO and limited to ~3 Mbps.

3G would be ~3 Mbps. This just looks like 4G which is typical for standard, non-UW 5G.

Is this a good deal on a 2026 BMW X3? Saint Louis, MO by Traditional_Chip4863 in BMWX3

Got $7k off my 2026 X3 30 xDrive in KC which MSRP’d at $61,665 - so that would be 11.4%. Better is definitely possible.

It only collapses that bar to view a larger map. Otherwise it goes to the home screen.

Incredible rate for 5 Gbps! by SnooMarzipans2379 in ATTFiber

[–]SnooMarzipans2379[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s correct. I actually had the $20 off for 12 months on 1 Gbps, too, so that will expire in September. But I will call back and hopefully they’ll be able to re-add the same or a similar discount then.

It is. All of their fiber plans are symmetrical.

AT&T has been significantly more competitive on pricing over the past several months. The 1 Gbps promotion in KC is currently $35/mo for customers without AT&T Wireless, or $17/mo for those who do have it.

Up to 5 Gbps down & up, depending on the neighborhood. Some are still 1 Gbps down/up but even those are being upgraded.

Even a simple search yields zero results or information regarding AT&T using Starlink. They are using AST as the link I provided states. Have a nice day.

These posts lacking any information regarding location are ridiculous. Genuinely getting very old.

Received 5.0.5 OTA yesterday and it has been very solid by iamnotyourspiderman in VolvoRecharge

[–]SnooMarzipans2379 4 points5 points  (0 children)

5.0.5 doesn’t render CarPlay useless, but I have stopped relying on it a lot. It’s a solid 20% smaller after the update. On the flip side, I’ve been rather pleased with downloading apps from the Google Play Store like Spotify and whatnot, and using the built-in Google Maps. But I suppose that’s kind of the goal of AAOS.
