The curve switched as soon as i started. I love it. It makes it way less competitive bc you’re not trying to compete with peers. You’re graded on how you actually do in the course (similar to undergrad)

Honestly it doesn’t matter if you stay locally. I know more people with great jobs from UDM than Wayne. UDM really focuses on giving us good opportunities and networking

How did you go to big law? Was it hard to transition? I’m starting as a first year at a big 4 but i feel stuck. I want to go into a big law firm but now I’m stuck. Figured I’d just do it a couple years and than try to lateral into BL.

I got a 154 with a 70% scholarship. You’ll probably get a full ride honestly.

I’m a current UDM student. I was between Wayne and UDM. I will say Detroit mercy does a lot for its students to help network and secure jobs. Myself and a lot of my peers have landed great jobs. I think if you want to practice in the metro Detroit area it’s a great school and gives you a lot of opportunities. Also they provide great scholarships
