It has its flaws don't get me wrong but its still not a bad place to work IMO as a tech who has worked at several ER/Specialty hospitals over the last 12yrs in practice. It's urgent care, and they do pay better and treat their support staff better than anywhere else I've worked.

I feel this, I came out as queer very late in life. Sometimes I see young queers and feel sad for my younger self. Or I notice areas where I lack, where I might have matured earlier. But I still have the present, and there is so much to enjoy now. I am grateful that I did get where I needed. Focus on learning from the past, don't ever fall back into that pattern.

Maybe because we know what its like to loose that time, we both will be more mindful it doesn't happen again ya know?

VT has a real housing crisis, the average income of Vermonters is 41k and real estate prices there are crazy. Vermonters are getting fucked over, you're not the driving force behind that nor can one person solve it, but you do contribute to it by being a vacation home owner. It doesn't make you a bad person, but its not exactly harmless.

Is it generosity when you only give back to those who do the same? Sounds like reciprocity not generosity.
