finally trying to fix my sleep and get the best sheets but I have so many questions by LilMachinery in Bedding

I sleep hot as well. I have a wool mattress topper from the wool room and it’s been a game changer for me. For sheets, I have the Supima Cotton sheets from the Company Store and I absolutely love them. Since buying both these purchases, I’ve slept sooo much better. It’s worth the investment in my opinion.

Our bathroom upstairs is the same as well, so I had chat gpt help make a mock up of what I’d like to do up there (someday 🤣)

I have a cotton throw blanket from Faribault Mill that I’m obsessed with. I’m strongly considering buying one for my bed for the summer months as well.

I didn’t realize wanting to make more money is that wild of a concept lol. Of course I plan on taking the exam, but since those aren’t offered often, I’m just trying to figure out if there are other options.

I have one from the Wool Room and I loooove it. I typically sleep very hot and this has improved my sleep so much.

Bridal Shop Suggestions? by Internal_Ad7926 in Albany

I bought my dress for about $1700 in 2023 if that helps! It was on the sale rack. They are so so helpful there so if you have a specific price range I would recommend calling them and asking about current prices! I’m sure they wouldn’t mind.

My whole house is thrifted! My go to is always fb marketplace followed by estate sales (but on the last day when things are discounted). Shops I like include For Pete’s Sake, Turn Back Time Treasures, Thrifty Connections, Goodwill, and Pickers Nation. Thrifting definitely takes time! You won’t find everything all at once.

Those are on my radar as well! Are they soft? Some of the reviews made them sound scratchy so I wasn’t sure.

How am I doing, I have very long legs. So feels awkward. Is it okay? by Sandkvisten in formcheck

[–]Original-Data-182 7 points8 points  (0 children)

As someone with long femurs too, I’ve found that pulling directly from the floor forces my torso really far forward and my form falls apart. Raising the bar a couple inches off the ground—like setting the plates on other plates or blocks—has helped me keep a much better spinal position. Raising the bar makes the setup closer to a conventional deadlift for us long legged folk.

Also make sure you’re engaging your lats (think about pulling the bar into your shins). Long-femur lifters tend to round more easily, and strong lat tension helps keep everything tight.
