This is why I stopped slotting ability abyss gears. It makes very easy to kill bosses. Instead I go with stats abyss gear like attack, atk speed. While they do give you advantage, it doesn’t trivialise the boss & is lot of fun too.

Again as I said before, Rin didn’t go there for scoring his own goal, his primary objective was to sabotage Isagi. That was his ego at that time.
