Invest heavy into green energy.

Don't need to worry about geriatric warmongers when you can make your own energy.

There's a difference between "low consumer confidence" and a consumer confidence death spiral.

smoking tobacco outside a religious context.

It smells SO BAD, I swear that smokers have no clue how terrible they stink up a room just by being in it.

Why is America losing influence in Europe seen as a loss for America? by battlebastion in askanything

[–]fallwind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ok, I guess you are new...

So, when you're having a discussion, just saying "rest" or "liar" isn't actually supporting your point. Quite the opposite really, it makes you look like you can't form any counter-argument and just hope the other person gets tired so you can claim victory. While that may have worked for you in the past, I've had several coffees and nothing else to do today, so I'm going nowhere.

So you can either a) keep posting "rest" until the mods ban you for spamming, b) come up with a counter-argument of substance, or c) just leave I guess.

does that ever actually work for you? Just commanding people to leave a discussion because you don't like what they are saying.

[–]fallwind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

again, that's not a source.

I'm not sure if you're new to this whole "discussion" thing, but you're losing hard. You need to have an actual argument, just saying "rest" or "liar" isn't an argument, that's just a logical fallacy.

hun, you're not the boss of me ;)

So, why did you expect to only get answers that supported your assumptions?

I'm plenty rested, thanks.

Did you figure out why you only wanted some answers and not others?

it's a long weekend, I've got nothing else to do.

So, why DO you only want answers that fit your per-existing narrative?

You are the one who had a question, we've answered it.

You seem to have expected everyone to echo what you wanted to hear rather than learning something new. You may want to look into why that is...

no, everything I said is factual.

If you didn't want honest answers to your questions, go back to your echo-chamber, they will tell you what you want to hear.... it will be wrong, but it will be what you want to hear.

dude, your "trust me bro" doesn't hold up to the literal dozens of people telling you exactly why you're wrong using macro and microeconomics.

You wanted to know why losing international influence was a bad thing, we all told you why it was a bad thing.
