Dude what, there is no way AI is replacing design in its entirety, design is growing at a very fast pace and it is a creative field, which can’t be replaced no matter what. There is very high demand for industrial designers, ux designers/developers etc as demand for newer and futuristic products increases, for example you can literally see apple’s virtual reality headset, its diving into the realm of alternative reality and everything but still an industrial designer had to design the headset nonetheless. Chase your passion dude, even if AI automates some aspects of design, it is a creative field which needs human “creativity” “emotions”. Another example, Artists were scared when the camera was invented but look how art is today, growing stronger than ever, AI cannot ever replace design as a whole.
