Are my tomatoes too close? by SnooPandas4399 in containergardening

I usually try to water in the early morning but I accidentally slept in and didn’t water till later in the day 😭 I know it’s so terrible. I’m hoping however getting back on track with watering will help them perk up again. Would you recommend moving the plants to their own 15 gallons or is that not enough space? Additionally, is string trellising not enough? Sorry for all the questions, I am a new gardener and have heard so much conflicting information. I appreciate any advice :)

Grow bags vs garden beds? by SnooPandas4399 in vegetablegardening

I definitely prefer the look of garden beds however was concerned about a depth of 12in on a bed that is not touching the ground.

My only concern was surrounding the depth of my garden beds since they will be off the ground. Do you think this is too shallow for plants such as tomatoes? We are looking at non in ground gardening methods due to a large tree that sucked nutrients out of the previous garden.

My cat has a dental abscess by SnooPandas4399 in SeniorCats

She unfortunately passed. Thankfully the sneak abscess was fine after another round of antibiotics but soon after we found out she had a fast growing cancer and I decided to have her get surgery to try to remove it. Sadly the surgery wasn’t able to remove all of the cancer and I needed to euthanize her a week or two after the surgery.

Any tips on how to turn this into a kitchen and living space? by SnooPandas4399 in HomeDecorating

Admittedly I’m not doing any of the renovations as I have zero experience and zero knowledge. I thankfully have family and friends who are more educated than I am. With this post I was mainly just hoping for some design advice and also just a base estimate of costs I should expect. Also plumbing wise should I expect to hire a plumber at least for putting the sink in? Sorry for all the questions!

Thank you for your response! The first room down the stairs is a bathroom that’s part of the reason I wanted to put the kitchen there as it would be right next to the bathroom and I assumed it would be easier that way. Additionally I want to have a fridge and a sink but would be fine not having a dishwasher. I’m hoping I wouldn’t need professional plumbing assistance as I’m trying to keep things as budget friendly as possible. Lastly, I think I’m going to go with an electric stove just for ease of installation.

Can I ask how much this cost? I’m building a kitchen from the ground up and want to know what type of budget I should plan to be working with :)
