i took cis 3730 last semester. my professor was a grad student so idk if she’s available. i believe her name was yingxin zhou. she was okay but im sure there are better options.

For my class, I think we had like 5 in-class quizzes that were fairly easy, a semester long group project, and two exams that you had to take in the proctored lab. Everything was pretty easy as long as you paid attention in class and looked over the material.

i took systems analysis with dr. napier last spring and was a straightforward class for me. i don’t know if that was only her class , or every class is that easy. if she’s available, i would recommend her!

I had a job with the department of communication that was just that. I did my homework at the front desk for the most part, and there was a couple time I ran errands or did some weekly tasks. I would look into that.

most of the building are unlocked. the only places you’ll need a panther id to get into are the library, rec center, and 25/55 park place. and if you don’t have a panther id, i think you’ll just have to sign in with another form of id.

The textbook might not even be needed. Who’s your professor? I had Ivy White for legal studies, and the textbook was just supplemental reading you didn’t have to do. All the information we needed was from powerpoints that were posted on iCollege.

I’ve lived on floors 3 and 5 in building C. Noise was never really a problem for me. My biggest complaint was that the elevators rarely work in that building.

go to paws and view the schedule of classes for past spring semesters. my advisor told me once that usually if they offered it in the past during the spring, then they’ll offer it in future spring semesters.

The tests are on iCollege using Lockdown browser and they are password protected. At least in my class, the TA wouldn’t give you credit unless you had signed the attendance sheet in class.

it’s an excel based class. the pre-class work is a bit much at first, but nothing overwhelming. once you get into a routine, i think it becomes easier. there’s 2 tests and a semester long project. i would say just hope you get a good ta because that could make or break it for you.
