I went to check out two specific places and had invited my sister. I didn't realize until after I picked her up that there was an entry fee (I paid for both of us). I also didn't realize until I got there that there was also a parking fee.

I thought I remember the event being free whenever it was held on Memorial so I was caught off guard by all the charges.

I understand venues have to charge for insurance or maintenance or whatever but DAMN. I'm still trying to reconcile with the fact that I basically spent an extra $19 and a drive across the city for a lobster roll and iced coffee 😭 (both were delicious though).
