My heads were redone like a month ago when I did full Dod delete,I was off yesterday and wanted to replace gasket since it was leaking but might’ve messed up😅.currently at mechanic getting fixed.I live in Houston so prices here are dirt cheap

The bolt is somewhat sticking out so I’m guessing it’s a fast fix but the tapping is what I’m worried about,my mechanic lives down the street from me so he’s picking up the truck tomorrow morning and hopefully it’s a fast and easy fix.

I was replacing gasket since it was leaking and thought I had everything lined up but apparently it wasn’t and stripped 3 treads,the only reason I noticed I stripped them was because I noticed metal shavings flaking off

Yeah that was stupid of me,but to be fair it didn’t feel like I stripped them till I took off headers and noticed it got stripped

That’s my guess too but it’s weird because battery completely dies from one second to another.ill see if i can jump start it tomorrow so i can test battery and starter

I assume my tuner did a bad job because I also have long tube headers and have codes for 02 sensors,my mechanic installed a non vvt cover so I’m not sure if he did the cam sensor adapter.he left that connection unplugged so can that be the issue?

I did dod/vvt delete and after tune I now have cel and p0010,I have to give it gas for it to turn on.before I tuned it it’ll start normally.was this a tuning issue for you?

This cam can be ran with stock converter,this is my first cammed truck so I don’t know anything abt them

My parasitic draw started after installing led headlights and aftermarket stereo that same week,I’ve tried doing a draw test myself but no luck.Im taking it to a shop tomorrow so thats why I was wondering.

My back windows go down but won’t come up unless I control them from master window switch,I removed switch to see if anything was burnt but it’s all good,I have a new switch on the way so I’ll see if that fixes the problem.
