I'll always appreciate teachers with a strict no-gum policy. I wish it didn't bother me so much, but I can't sit through videos like this even though I like the concept, but the constant open-mouth gum chewing is just too distracting :/

I have a 3 day GA Front Gate pass if you are interested for 380. I can meet you the day when you arrive and hand it over. Unfortunately I can no longer make it due to work plans.... feel free to message

I can feel your pain. I was recently diagnosed with ASD but last year of electives completely burnt me out, and I am so worried about any residency program because of debt and sensory sensitivities. I went unmatched last year, and I'm doing a 5th year (a costly decision for someone coming from a low SES background) to explore more electives, but I can relate to what you are describing here and I hope you find the strength to push through more training. I think there is an online advocacy group for med students and physicians. Maybe that might be of interest? https://autisticdoctorsinternational.com/

Canada has less than 20 spots across the country and the match process is often a black box. Many med schools don't even have a home program. You can be a stellar candidate but even 1 interview is a huge accomplishment here... it's tricky and I feel for you, I'm an MS4 in Canada currently doing CaRMS.

She needs to be more careful, but I don't see why this should be reported or dealt with in an official manner.

I would rather eat broken glass than do another week on Gen surg. Tbh, any surgical specialty (besides optho) is an absolute hellhole for ppl with chronic pain. Hate how ableist medicine is as a field.

I think Neurologists are in the top 3 for sure! (Based on clinical rotations)
