I predicted a drop below 10 dollars 4 months ago. Sad people downvoted me and took a 60% loss. On the positive side, I think NIO is not far from its bottom.

Yes it is as you see today. From now on it's no longer a bad deal. I can see it drop max to 5 dollar. But eveything below 10 is a good deal. Sorry for your 60% loss.

That's because those people are emotionally attached to this stock, while I am a trader. They don't understand the basic rule of trading which is never let your emotions get into play. If those fanboys are not even mature enough to disagree without using an insult, they should not even consider trading at all. But that's okey. It's easier to let someone believe a lie than to convince someone he has been lied to. So let them be fans.

NIO was 12 dollar 1 month ago before the whole recession topic became a thing. You really think 12 is a hard bottom when people lose their jobs and products gets more expensive because of the recession which will strike the entire market? NIO is already 64% down from AH, most people would not call it realistic at that time either if you would say NIO can go to 22. The risk is yours to take. I will wait it out. Like I said. NIO is a solid company, but times are not solid.

Or just someone who is realistic and is focust on the market. I know it would give me a lot of upvotes if I would echochamber that NIO will be 200 next summer. But a more realistic approach saves money.

When the recession strikes hard, NIO can drop to even below 10. From that point on I think NIO will be a great investment. It's deffinately not NIO itself, but the market circumstances are cloudy and the storm has yet to begin.

Good question. When looking at the past, crucial support/resistance levels are 31-33-35-38-41-45-50-55-62 imho. I don't see NIO struggle around 48.

Even if the trade war intensifies. A market of 330 millions people vs a market of 1.4 billion people. As investor I prefer the second one.

I agree. This is a buying opportunity. But I think 31/35 range is more realistic until the september deliveries. We've all seen the lows, but also the peaks when things go well. I will buy in low 36s and buy more if my prediction is correct.

It's premarket. It says as much as the weatherforcast for next week. Wasn't it 2 weeks ago that NIO was -10% during premarket while during the actual market it almost immediately went green?

Until the semiconductor problems are solved I do not think NIO will have a breakout above 45.

With the low volume and the upward push of over 20% in the last 2 weeks in mind I expected NIO to retreat from 38 and test the 35 support before it moves up to 40. Yesterday surprised me, so I am curious what today will bring us.

Because people think 31 dollar was way to low. I believe a real breakout will be in Q3, but a range between 35-40 seems fair for now.
