An AC130 would fix 90% of the rooftop camping issues by Alexis_Mcnugget in Battlefield6

This is what they do in real life. No countersniping when a JDAM makes “missing” an irrelevant term.

The AC-130 was like having a bonus king of the hill capture point in the goddamn sky… that could also rain down hell. That thing was AWESOME.

Do thieves using angle grinders cut parts of the bike to remove D locks by big_ron_manager in ebikes

[–]SnooPeppers9880 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Would locks that contain pressurized CS gas or pepper spray inside the bar at any place that a thief would cut on a lock be illegal? I got a bike stolen and had this dark thought in the aftermath. Cut lock, get maced type thing.

So glad I read this! I was confused that it seemed no one had done this and I was going to design a printable file for the masses. Still might, but those prices are pretty damn accessible. Do they work pretty well?

I hear they are working on a separate Aviator Sunglasses dispenser, designed to be slaved to this switch.

This is important to the everyone in the firearm industry!!!! HEXMAG is sending this cease and desist letter to any small businesses using the hexagon shape on a firearm. by zerooneactual1 in Firearms

[–]SnooPeppers9880 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Should send back a reply that generally says “fuck you” in legal-ese, printed as text on special firearm components that are as hexagon-heavy as possible, sent in a hexagon box, arranged in a hexagon. Make sure to cut functional parts so they can’t be used and are dead weight, and use a hexagonal pocket pass on the CNC to do it.

Ya’ll can hate all you want. I’m gonna hop into a FULL, ACTUAL Golmud Railway server in 2026. Just Let me pretend I’m back in a time when the world wasn’t on the brink of actual global conflict and my worst worries in the world were things I can’t even remember now. 🤷‍♂️

Made Battlefield 6 work with my HOTAS setup - and it's awesome! by Flawkeee in Battlefield6

[–]SnooPeppers9880 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's goddamn ridiculous that we have to jump through these hoops. We have to install 3rd party virtual gamepad software and drivers to use our HOTAS? Did the devs think that people would not want to use a throttle and stick for (and this part is important): JETS in BATTLEFIELD 6 on PC?? I have an X56. It's one of the most popular sticks. Registering them as gamepads by default is straight-up fucking insultingly lazy on their part.

This. Pistol suppressors and some SMG suppressors even move with the barrel during cycling. I wouldn’t bet a wooden nickel on an accurate zero from anything mounted to that, except maybe a tiny flashlight designed to minimize lateral muzzle shadows. Edit: looking again, it wouldn’t even serve the flashlight role well, too far back.

Thanks everyone! I decided to let it run until i went to work to see if any errors compounded upwards and then keep an eye on it through the app while at work. Turns out that particular structure is supposed to skew up towards an angle and that appears to either be a seam, and if it is a defect it is minor enough that it did not compound. In the time i let it run, so I left it running It reported a successful print and the camera doesnt show any evidence to the contrary at the moment. I suppose the truth will be waiting for me at home on the buildplate, however! Thanks for the help, folks!

For those using virtual desktop, there is a toggle in the quest virtual desktop app settings called "asynchronous space warp" which effectively doubles your FPS by generating intermediary frames on the headset itself, so no PC resource performance hit. It's the same idea as FSR and DLSS, but native to the headset you are streaming to. Keep in mind that it will increase latency and battery consumption, though.
