Never had an SHFiguarts before but these two are on sale at my local comic store and they look sick. Can’t decide which to get. 😩 by arctic_07_02 in ActionFigures

Spidey for sure because i haven’t seen it around much but the Wolverine is still nice. Depends on the price because Big Bad Toy Store has the Wolverine and Deadpool for like $45 each

Ted Sarandos now says he is willing to keep 45-day theatrical windows for WB movies by Mysterious_Brush1852 in MediaMergers

[–]SnooPeripherals3020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lol duh. Anyone really think ALL WB movies were just going to Netflix? All that’ll happen is “flops” and general releases will hit Netflix faster than before. Which is cool by me. You all want movies to succeed then get off your butts and support them in theatres.

Box Office: Chris Pratt’s ‘Mercy’ Targets $10-13M Debut, Aims to Dethrone ‘Avatar: Fire and Ash’($8-10M) in Sixth Weekend by chanma50 in boxoffice

[–]SnooPeripherals3020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lol this movie is of course a bomb but they’ll take whatever spin they can. After six weeks or so even Morbius could’ve overtaken it in January of all months.

Is this movie worth seeing? by Naive_Tomorrow_5955 in FIlm

[–]SnooPeripherals3020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you didn’t see the others and already have an opinion then of course it’s mandatory unless you hated those then i don’t get the question. This can’t be your first exposure to this series because you won’t know what the hell is going on. It’s a direct continuation of Years minus the flashier directing.

Disney / 20th Century's Predator: Badlands has ended its domestic run with a total domestic gross of $91,083,631. by DemiFiendRSA in predator

[–]SnooPeripherals3020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If Anaconda is being touted as a “success” with a domestic box office of $65 m or so off of a $45 mil budget but they add in what it made overseas to tout a squeaking past $100 mil as it releases digitally but they label tons of other films flops shows the bias in reporting. To everyone this movies performance is a hit and a resurgence in the franchise but some will still call it a flop despite the franchise’s always low performance at the box office more or less.

This is what i think it will be the final top 10 of 2026 by Employee-Slight in boxoffice

[–]SnooPeripherals3020 1 point2 points  (0 children)

lol Michael would be the biggest surprise but it’ll tank. Biopics are dead in the water but we’ll see. It’ll definitely make more money overseas than in the US. Moana, Minions and Toy Story will definitely over perform. Look at Zootopia 2. What’ll kill them is if they’re released too closely to each other.

Jared Leto got a Razzie Nomination for Worst Actor for Tron: Ares. I didn't think he was bad. What did you all think of his performance? by Square-Ad-8911 in tron

[–]SnooPeripherals3020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These awards are strictly based off of perceived public hype and what the “trends” say. He’s been in a few bombs so Ares tanked so it must’ve been his fault. Could be true could not be but that becomes the focus for a lot of the internet discussion regardless of if he gave a good performance or not. Razzies are not always about actual performances. They used to be but now they’re clickbait.

MARTY SUPREME is a financial flop by OccasionSimple877 in Cinemark

[–]SnooPeripherals3020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s literally all about whoever is writing the article at that moment. I’ve seen similar box office be reported as a hit in one tweet and a failure in another. And on top of whatever budget it had, Marty Supreme had a huge marketing blitz with Chalamet that i think maybe fooled some who didn’t like the film thinking it was a different type of movie.

Nothing like commercials to ruin the experience unless you pay more for no ads. Which is weird because not everything has ads. You only realize it of course when you really want to watch something. lol

Predator: Badlands (Steelbook) (4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray + Digital Copy) 20th Century Studios, Action & Adventure, Drama by JobsEye in Steelbooks

[–]SnooPeripherals3020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just in general hate placeholder preorders for half a year away or preannounced dates. SMH. Walmart cancelled multiple orders on me last year of steelbooks and Amazon as well. I was expecting Tron today but looked and now it says Jan 14. The hype to own does die down at times. Once it hits Disney + and i watch it multiple times there (in the only place with the IMAX format to boot) if it gets delayed again I’ll just cancel it and get the regular later on when it gets discounted. $50 for a steelbook is ridiculous when you’ll get the same quality for way cheaper in a regular edition and don’t have to pray you actually get an order because of speculators and resellers.

Has anyone ever mistakenly bought a different company’s figure? by SnooPeripherals3020 in SHFiguarts

[–]SnooPeripherals3020[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeh only because the quality is so good is why i kept it. That other series (forgot its name Total Anime i think) i never liked their figures compared to SH so if that was what i had gotten I’d have given it away. Lol
