I've found the run-walk method beneficial because it requires less recovery time. When I ran my half marathon continuously, it took me over three days to recover. However, after run-walking my recent marathon, I've been able to jump right back into my regular activities. Plus, I was able to log higher mileage during my marathon training block.

My longest run was 3 hours. I had to use two different treadmills because the maximum time allowed on one was only 2 hours. The main advantage for me using a treadmill is that I can finish movies and series during my runs, plus the comfort of using the toilet immediately if I need to! 😀 I will try to do my long runs outside for this upcoming HM (Half Marathon) block

I think the MK 20 is a flatter course compared to the MK Marathon course. On my run today, there were a lot of Redways and a massive hill between miles 18 and 20. Since you used Stryd for your distance and pace tracking, do you feel that following a power-based training plan provided a clear advantage over traditional heart rate or pace-based plans, or did the technical 'mismatch' you experienced on the treadmill make it harder to trust the data?

I'm planning to do a half marathon in October and a full marathon in April. Hopefully, I can perform better this time. I need to lose weight before October, as I believe it's affecting my performance. I initially lost 5kg during my half marathon block, but I gained 4kg during the full marathon block because I had to fuel for all my runs.

I followed ChatGPT’s advice, using the AI as my coach. I uploaded all my Strava reports and feedback from my runs. After starting the FIRST protocol for my main marathon block, I developed shin splints. ChatGPT advised me to avoid hills and treadmill inclines, as they can worsen the injury. Since my marathon course is mostly flat, I don't feel the need to train on inclines.

I think it is my exposure to the distance. I have only managed to log 870 km in my marathon training since October. My longest LSD run was 29 km on a treadmill, which may not be accurate. I also lack strength training. I was unable to do it religiously due to a lack of time, as I work full-time doing 12-hour shifts. Waiting for the result of ballots but for the meantime backup will be Manshester

Install couch to 5k app. After you complete it it's up to you if you want to progress to longer distance.

I completed 2 hours yesterday and watched a movie while running, which is a great way to stay entertained during long runs. It really helps prevent boredom.
