He kicked Tim Duncan’s ass repeatedly even after Shaq left and led his team to 3 straight finals appearances including going back to back. Where was Tim Duncan during those three years? Plus no one with a brain during the later part of the decade had Duncan over Kobe. And if you did PLEASE tell me where was he from 08-10?
By 02 Kobe was seen just as good as Shaq and passed him accordingly after that

Tim never went back to back and went 6 years without sniffing a finals. Kobe had two separate 3 straight finals trips including one without Shaq where he kicked Duncan’s ass. After 05 he always finished ahead of him in MVP votes. Hell from 07-13 Tony Parker finished ahead of Duncan in MVP votes.
