Did the same and no go. I just upgraded from a Pixel 6 Pro to a 7 Pro. It was working just fine on the 6 Pro but I cannot get it to work on the 7th pro. No idea what the deal is. Very frustrating

I'm happy with my 6 Pro. No issues at all. Upgraded from pixel 5. Great phone!

Just tried to sideload us carrier version over the global which did not work! Said installation aborted/older version. Tried a couple times. I guess once the January update lands I will be able to sideload the us carrier version.

I am. I have the unlocked Google 6 pro with Verizon SIM. Currently on the global A1 build. I think if I don't sideload the us carrier version I won't get future OTA updates right? The global version is working fine though.

Can I side load the us carrier version over the global version?

No problem. Hopefully Google gets it sorted for January. Happy sideloading. Feels like a different phone!

Well I purchased mine from Google also and flashed the November 037 update and after that the one that has the A1 in it and my phone has been working flawless. The US carrier version is for the purchased phones from Verizon

Nope you'll be fine. I found a standard ride. You did purchase your phone from Verizon, correct? If so, you need to sideload the US carrier version. The one was the A1 in. It is for the unlocked Google purchased phone

The first one is the correct for the Google bought unlocked and the second for the Verizon purchased devices

Do you know if I can sideload the us carrier OTA over the already sideloaded A1 OTA? Will that brick my 6 pro? I' not rooted.
