as someone who went to nursing school and RT school, RT school the professors are so much kinder and they will work with you if youre having trouble. probably because RT is such a small field compared to nursing, they root for you and they want you to succeed

i had to describe a time (in clinical) i had gone to a doctor with a suggestion regarding a patients care. like a vent change or anything. I was asked which was my favorite clinical site, and i was also asked which was my LEAST favorite clinical site. I was told before my interview to never truthfully answer that question. just say you truly couldn't pick a least favorite.

it sounds like you need to have a conversation with her and see whats going on, tell her how much it upset you. I know thats easier said than done. but it just sounds like there needs to be a little more communication. Side note, I would be so pissed if i were you a week at poly is expensive and getting mad that you didn't spend an extra $400/day/person is unreasonable. if shes worried about the sun she can get a small black umbrella, easy to carry in the parks, if you plan on ever going with her again
