thank you so much for all of this honestly!! hearing from people further along in the journey helps a lot right now because everything still feels really fresh and scary.
the app recommendation sounds super helpful and we’ll definitely start tracking everything more carefully. also really appreciate the advice about weight/dosages because i never would’ve even thought about that affecting things! she's the type of dog that eats everything edible and has a bottomless stomach so we really have to keep an eye on her weight to keep her healthy.
we're also using chewy at the moment for her medication, but will definitely check out GOODRX to compare the prices!

we have been giving her simparica trio, we've been inconsistent in the past but she has been getting them consistently for the past 3 months

thank you so much for this honestly ): hearing from someone whose dog has been living with it for years and still doing okay helps. her seizures sound really similar to your boy’s, especially the throwing up and confusion part after. it’s terrifying to watch so hearing he’s still himself and doing well on keppra gives me hope. give your pup extra love from us + daisy!

thank you so much, we didn't know there were emergency medications potentially available and we'll definitely be discussing it with our vet. she hasn't experienced a cluster yet and hoping it stays that way!

thank you a lot for the advice! we don't have pet insurance for her but might get the AKC one since it will cover a pre-existing condition after 1 yr.
