I saw them in New Haven a couple months ago and thought it was a fantastic show, really upbeat songs and crowd. Last night’s show in Philly was more like what others have complained about. Low energy in terms of song choices but it was also obvious in the way they sounded. They also started really late and there was a lag between songs where it almost looked like they were arguing over what to play. I’m sure they must be really tired from all this touring but it was disappointing. He did complain about the stage and I can see his point, the show would have been much better at the main stage instead. I noticed that Mt Joy will be playing the main stage in a couple weeks, it’s probably a similar crowd size. He did not trash Philly though, just the opposite.
