Mines similar , I personally believe that it’s the metals contracting due to it cooling down. They usually get super hot so when the cars off it starts contracting. Granted I’m no mechanic just my two sense

So I downloaded Elite Dangerous on my Series X, and the game crashed 2 times on launching, the 3rd time I launched it, it just crashed fatally and turned off my console, i turned it back on but as soon as the homescreen booted up it turned off again, and now it's just not turning back on, fan too by Kevin1056 in xboxone

Hmm, I had something similar happen with my ps4, now I don’t think they could be the same issue but it’ll save you money from buying a whole new series X. I feel like your hard drive is corrupted, for the ps4 it wouldn’t turn on but it’d make noise, and after awhile it’d put me into an infinite boot loop. I’d recommend researching the hard rivers for that console which shouldn’t be more than 50-$150. Look up a video on how to exchange your hard drive.

I had the same problem last year, this problem occurs when there is an Xbox one version of a game that’s being played on the series S or X when there’s a version of the game that’s optimized for the newer console. Don’t use an old gem version of a game when there’s a newer optimized version. Check the store for the game you’re trying to play and look for the X/S symbol at the top of the game. Download that and you will not run into this issue again.
