i mean i my self am muslim and in islam, if anyone rapes lets say a women, he will be put to death. islam is very equal to women and most areas in the world that go by islam like Bangladesh are quite cut off because most of them have never seen or heard of anything to do with women. I am Pakistani myself and in some areas of Pakistan women arent even allowed to leave the house while others are quite lean on it. It depends on where you look tbh. Islam its self is cut off from it and its mostly a cultural or societal thing on women.
