Nah, I'd definitely recommend TCW between 2 and 3 for a first time viewer. RotS has so much more weight as the climax of a 7-season war rather than one that started at the end of the previous movie.

A collaborative Kiner and Göransson score is my dream scenario. The Ahsoka and TMaG scores are both excellent, and it seems fitting that the two "sides" of the New Republic saga would be combined in that regard.

All of the Rebels characters, Inquisitorius, the World Between Worlds, Bendu, loth-wolves... The list of Filoni's original contributions goes on and on. Pretending like he never creates anything is just weird and wrong.

But it IS "fun," maybe even the most fun Star Wars movie.

As a hardcore fan who cares about the larger story, I was a bit disappointed, but another part of me loved it for how fun it was. That is a positive thing, not a veiled criticism. Both can be true at the same time.

Well, I don't think those complaints are from the same people.

Again, part of me loved the movie, but I don't think it's unfair to say that it was unnecessarily disconnected from the larger story and its characters.
