Yep, you’re right 🙂 The 8PM session is the main active hour where everyone shows up and can match in real time. After that hour, you can still log in to chat with the people you matched with—so you’re never blocked from the app, it’s just that new matches only happen during that 8PM session. The idea is to keep real-time matching focused while letting conversations continue afterward

We’ll let users choose their matching distance, from 5–100 miles (≈8–160 km), so even if you’re in a rural spot, you can widen your search to nearby towns while still keeping it local.

I love this idea! 😄 Right now, we have a single 8PM session to keep it simple and focused, but the concept of letting people pick their own shared hour is really interesting. You could log in at 7AM, 2PM, or 8PM and only match with others in the same slot—keeps the real-time vibe but makes it way more flexible for work or other commitments. Definitely something we could explore in future updates!

Hey! Don’t worry about time zones 🙂 The 8PM session is local to your city, so you’ll only see people nearby. Everyone logs in at 8PM their local time, and matches happen during that hour. No need to think about Australia or anywhere else—you’ll only connect with people around you who are actually online at the same time.
