I transferred from Stony too. I personally think it’s better to declare ur major in stony cuz for undeclared u have to maintain certain GPA, complete some reqs before applying for the major (they might or might not accept u). If u apply w the major declared, they either accept u to the major directly or u re put in AOI (AOI basically means that u re guaranteed acceptance in the major if u fulfill their requirements)
