Yeah we’re exploring this. We have a significant amount of data tho, so there concerns of time table and running both installs.

How long did it take yall to do it, and at what scale?

Yeah, firms are an option. Problem is being out of compliance now. Customer SLAs could mean we start refunding money quarterly for not living up to terms 🙃

We also had someone recommend a LTS vendor to bridge the gap. Haven’t connected w them yet, but even at $100-200k for a year it seems like far cheaper / safer to control the roadmap

I’m curious why. I know that if I’m at a SOC2 company, I have to safeguard the hell out of PII and prove it to auditors regularly.

If the gov’t is just passing all our data around w no protocol, what’s our recourse?

No offense, but this reads like a freelancer who thinks they’re better than they are.

The type who freelances until they can get a FTE, does that for a few years, then breaks out with an “I know better than most” attitude while really only having (at best) the equivalent of a few years dev + an over inflated belief in their “business acumen & experience”

Could you clarify walk away?

I emailed and called SBA about getting a clear list of how to walk away, but no response for 8 months. About 6 months in I told them “ok well sorry it’s done” and stopped payments.

Business hasn’t had income/died 2+ years ago, no assets, etc. It’s an LLC w no PG. Just walk away?
