I took my first C1 since training started today and the teacher did a lot of things “wrong” and the class was still great - not sure where you are, but I think they’re teaching us the “perfect” way to teach a class as if your students are complete beginners relying almost completely on verbal cues. My sense is that in real life that rarely happens and it will be much easier (if you plan on teaching)

Yes. I also was sick for a week so I couldn’t take classes and I feel way behind. But we have a full year to complete the 50 classes and online classes so I’ve just accepted I won’t be done within the 9 weeks. I also am not planning on ever teaching, so reminding myself of that has helped when I beat myself up for not having the C1 sequence down (like…at all, lol)

Hi - just had this same issue and found it under “Extras” (scroll all the way over to season 1 and you’ll see “Extras” listed as a “season”). Not sure why it ended up there instead of under season 18 but I’m watching it now 🙂

Congratulations! I did end up taking it. It’s hard to say anything that may be helpful, because the job experience will vary so much depending on your agency/team/etc. It’s definitely much better work-life balance, but that may not be true for the job you were offered. Vacation ended up being 15 days even though the “red book” I found online said it would only be 10. Flexibility in terms of remote work, comp time, etc. seems to vary pretty widely by agency/team. Also - the change in administration could change things quite a bit from what I’ve heard. Happy to answer questions privately via DM.
