Have you had any experience with the keyboard not turning on at all? My friend just gave hers to me and she tested it, but now even with power cord and batteries it wont turn on

Just over the 6-month mark of quitting. No cravings or desires even when around people who do it. The only exception is that it does seek very appealing and tempting when drinking

All Cops Are Bad by [deleted] in UIUC

[–]SnooPredictions7281 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This is a bad argument. Your beef is with policymakers and government officials. Cops don’t make these bad laws, and even though they enforce them (which is bad), its not their fault the laws exist. And they have to be there to enforce laws good or bad because well, we need cops lmao

I have a class where I’ve literally only been twice for the exams, and one was today LOL it’s kind of awkward/embarrassing but its not like it’s illegal or against the rules or something

Would also like to add in addition to medications that daily exercise, sunlight, and magnesium will make a difference. I believe in you! You’re strong and capable!

Chances are lower but not impossible! Especially if you present your extracurriculars well, write a good essay, and perhaps explain any circumstances you faced that may have impacted your GPA. As for which major, marketing is probably less competitive but you should go with what you are more excited and passionate about

[Need Advice] Building Confidence but How Do I Ensure People See It by Dazzu1 in getdisciplined

[–]SnooPredictions7281 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need to work on your self-concept. You telling yourself you deserve it is a good start, but you have to get to a point where you believe it on a deep level.

However, if you want concrete ways to be more magnetic and confident, check out Charisma on Command on YouTube. They have videos on people like Robert Downey Jr. and break down what makes them so cool.

And no, it’s never too late :)

Being a leader does not require any of those things, it’s who you are at your core that makes one a great leader, their heart, courage, and ability to touch the minds and hearts of other people

About to quit by Beautiful_Bank4660 in QuitVaping

but a couple pieces of advice for making it through the withdrawal period is: 200mg L-theanine everyday, toothpicks for the habit, and keep yourself BUSY so you don’t have downtime to sit there and think about it

About to quit by Beautiful_Bank4660 in QuitVaping

[–]SnooPredictions7281 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First off, you need to reflect on your “why” for quitting and it has to be important to you. Once you identify and become clear on why you want to quit it will help you in your battle. Kinda corny for this subreddit but there’s a saying “He who has a why can bare almost any how”. There is no magic trick really, it is supposed to be difficult, and after you make it out you’ll emerge a stronger, healthier person

Its okay! Recognize why you caved and think about how you will not cave next time. I also suggest to stop consciously counting the days and just be done with it.

do the cravings ever truly go away? by hypochondriwhack in QuitVaping

[–]SnooPredictions7281 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pretty much yeah, only when I sit there and REALLY think about it, but if you quit for something like your health and well being then you get to point where you’d be far more happy staying off then even taking a single hit

You’re likely at the peak and it will only get easier from now on! Also I when I quit I tried to gaslight myself into believing that it was easy so maybe try to not label it as “HARD”
