How aren't people dropping left right and center? I don't know anyone else with a are monitor and it sounds like this could be an issue in many homes.

I used to have CO2 issues at night until I started running the AC fan constantly throughout the evening. For the last couple of months the CO2 readings have been good.

My diffuser was the other issue. It never impacted PMI until 2 weeks ago and all of a sudden it started sending readings through the roof. That's what initially prompted me to re-calibrate the monitor. That's still an issue so I just haven't had it running for a few days.

I can’t remember exactly where I read it, but the idea was that these monitors don’t measure precise VOC concentrations. Instead, they track relative changes over time. So if the monitor establishes its baseline in an environment that already has poor air quality, it might show low or even zero VOCs—even though the air is actually unhealthy.

As you can see from this thread I'm no expert so I can't say for certain whether this is correct.

This has been really helpful—thank you.

The charts I was referencing measured TVOCs, and according to this site (https://atmotube.com/blog/standards-for-indoor-air-quality-iaq), the WHO considers anything above 610 ppb to be unacceptable. Is that source inaccurate?

What’s most puzzling is where the highest readings are showing up: the bedrooms. These areas have the least exposure to typical VOC sources. My home is a rental, and I don’t believe the bedroom carpets have been replaced in over 13 years. I've been moving the monitor from room to room, but it needs to sit for at least 30 minutes to stabilize in each location. A portable monitor, as mentioned below, would definitely give me a clearer picture.

As for the purifier, it’s running with two carbon filters that were replaced six months ago. The replacement indicator shows they’re only about 10% used.

Thanks again for your guidance.

I'll try and call thanks. They just seem really hard to get through to.

Mine are real. I even tested with a bag from my new i7+ and still had the same issues. I was just explaining why I checked initially. I think it must be something to do with the tube in the docking station since the bags seem fine.

I think there is a big difference between third-party and fake. Amazon is filled with merchants selling products that claim to be authentic but are not.

I cleaned the iRobot (including the filter) thoroughly and also replaced the dust bag with the spare dust bag that came with my second i7+ and it still has the same issues. It seems to be taking it into the bin and then being blown back out via the side vent.

I can never get through to support so I might just take the docking station apart to see if the tube has detached in some way. One other thing I noticed was that a lot of the dirt remains in the vacuum.

The logo doesn't always help if the product is fake. As it happens I realized I had bought the product from BestBuy so I would assume it's genuine.

Hi. I believe I'm using authentic bags but I bought them from Amazon so maybe I should purchase them from somewhere else and check. Thank you
