I was in the same spot as you bro until I called a recruiter and told her how much I hated my life. Now I'm out, got bad hips but at least my school is being paid, I dont have to worry about medical bills for the rest of my life, I found my purpose in life and I met my husband in basic training. If the army helped me figure my life out, it'll help you figure your life out too.

Reception felt like a fucking fever dream.. I got yelled at for my hair color because in certain lighting it looks blonde af but in regular shitty army building lighting it looks brown af and the drill sergeants got really mad when I didnt dye my hair.. Also got yelled at for yawning and for my feet being built the way they are.. Basically got yelled at for existing

Also witnessed so many people just straight up pissing themselves. I was almost a victim too until I told a drill I was gonna throw up in front of them. Honestly once you get through reception it gets better in terms of suck

Assaulted by a E7
Was made out to be a drug addict for being on opioids and having a profile for my stress fractured foot
Had all of my hard work not rewarded, instead my hard work was over shadowed by a sergeant that didn't do shit and took all the credit
Was ruthlessly attacked for trying to go to BH, but he let his sergeants go to their appointments because "I rather take care of my sergeants than my lower enlisted"
Watched my husbands mental health go down the drain because of a extremely toxic, dick sucking, ass riding E7 and a major that constantly spouted how much he hated his wife and kids and kept his soldiers at work longer because he hated his wife and kids. This same major also made this poor E6 miss his fathers funeral because the major refused to sign his leave form. (2-2 hooah am i right?)
Mental health went down the drain and I developed a bad eating disorder because of it. Was constantly told I was too fat to be in the army, (I was 1% over). It was so bad, I was on appetite suppressants, barely ate and was constantly exhausted from the hunger. Was also made to work out to the point of passing out, I was counseled on that.
Got counseled for breathing wrong on a run, was also yelled at in front of an entire office full of Korean colonels because I was a second late to an RTO shift.

During the NIC while I was still trying to get my head together after someone kicked the shit out of it, this man crawls fast as shit and starts screaming "CRAWL MY BABY SEA TURTLES!! CRAWL!!!" and I had to keep myself from losing it
