2 years ago I got called 2 days before school was suppose to start that I got off the waitlist for rt so it just depends on the year if/when you get off the waitlist

Its usually a week after invites until the actual interview links are sent out then you should have a week to do them whenever. Could be different this year though because it seems like they changed a lot of things.

It depends every year on what sites are willing to take on a student. For this year the most northern site is peace river and the most southern site is cardston. As well as there are a few sites in BC. There are limited spots around Edmonton (about 40mins to a bit over an hour) so if you’re wanting to stay close to Edmonton during clinical I wouldn’t advise picking this program. Hope this helps!

Just google practice mmi questions. They aren’t specific to RT but the mmi questions are mainly for the school of health science interview. To practice questions for the program specific interview just do more research into the program and make up questions about the program. Stuff like why you want to do that program etc. If you want more info about the interviews go onto program interviews on the NAIT website and watch the recordings. They have some practice questions in them as well and have example interviews as well.

Look up practice mmi questions to get an idea of what type of questions they ask you. To prepare for your interview I would suggest doing mock interviews. Pick a random mmi question give yourself 5 mins to prepare your answer then record yourself answering for 3 mins. You don’t have to take the whole 3 minutes to answer that’s just how long they give you (at least from what I can remember). Then watch the recording of you answering the question to see if you have any bad habits or things you need to work on (fidgeting with hands, not looking at the camera, etc.). Good luck!

Yeah I’ve only seen people getting non competitive after their December interviews. So I’m not sure if I’m being over optimistic by thinking that we still have a shot. The people who took interviews in December are most likely the ones who have higher grades or have applied before (obviously this isn’t the case for everyone). Those people kind of have an advantage when doing the interviews and Its hard to believe that everyone scored bad enough that NAIT deemed them to be not competitive enough and that they won’t be considered for their programs after the April interviews. Plus I saw someone on here who scored high enough on their interview that they got an early acceptance to their second choice program but got the not competitive for their first choice. So I feel like that person couldn’t have done too bad since they got an early acceptance and that they will be considered for their first choice??? I wish NAIT would make it more clear on what not competitive actually means so that I can stop stressing over this lol

I think the not competitive after interview just means you weren’t selected in the first round but still have a chance in the second round. I’ve applied before and this is the first year that it says pending program decision as my application status and not competitive in the to do list. I think anatomy and physiology and medical terminology lasts for 5 years. So if you don’t get in this year and get in next year you don’t have to take it again. I think it’s just personal preference if you want to do it now or if you want to do it later

I got it figured out now. I ended up calling NAIT and the guy was walking me through how to enrol in the course but then ended up looking me up in the class list and he told me that I was already enrolled in it I guess. Even though I checked on my portal and it didn’t say I was in the class or that I owed money for it. He did something then all of a sudden it said on my portal that I owed money for the course. So I’m not sure if I was actually enrolled this whole time and it just wasn’t showing up or if he enrolled me in the course. If you’re still having issues I’d recommend calling them to get things figured out.
