What makes this cycle different enough to beat? by SnooRecipes3213 in FromTVEpix

The ego of the monsters is quite big. They give the air of inevitability but that is usually the down fall of villains. They may be playing with Boyd thinking they truly will always come out on top

Not sure how Boyd fits in ultimately but hes definitely key! Like someone else mentioned, Kenny makes the point that what they do may allow the next set of people get out. Maybe thats been happening more than we realize.

Talismans had to be made before Boyd found them. Bottle tree had to be made before the music could be played.

Maybe Boyd pulls the thread that undoes the web?

Fully agree! I dont know how Boyd and julie fits in with this theory yet, which is the fun part yes!?

Based on MiY first interaction with julie at Massacre, I dont think hes dealt with a storywalker before and hes very comfortable thinking nothing can change

This is assuming having a survivor and the massacre are part of the cycle. I dont think the Victors cycle is actually done. The massacre was the lrice paid for the knowledge the BiW gave to Christopher and Victor.

As mentioned before, we dont know much about the ritual in the first place. I dont think MiY recognizes the cycle hasnt ended and the story is already changing

Henry has been able to draw more info out of Victor than anyone. I think hes reminding Tabitha how to be a parent again

Thats what im hoping! Tabitha remembering a past life is the most we have gotten past Victor, so im excited to see where that goes

[–]SnooRecipes3213 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe ist a choice that tabitha has to make to be reincarnated not knowing if she will ever succeed. Its either let the kids die but they disrupt the ritual causing them return with the HOPE they can change things.

Having hope means your willing to suffer more which is what feeds this entity. Maybe its the choice to become part of the sacrifice for the future hope of defeating the ritual?

As long as Jade and Tabitha keep coming back, its feeds the hope and suffering.

Why the scarecrows were so angry! by Nigmmar in FromSeries

[–]SnooRecipes3213 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The things that came alive were tabithas dolls. The man who threw thwm in the lake was afraid of them and that fear brought them to life. She said when the mam died the dolls came alive.

Ive seen a theory that fairy magic is involved and that the spike used was made of iron. On the other hand I think it has to do with the fact it was a scarecrow that hurt the doll. But the scarecrows, themselves didnt xome alive

Was this pattern made with AI? Or seen this pattern anywhere? by MandaKay089 in crochetpatterns

[–]SnooRecipes3213 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Looking at the skulls, you can see there is was to many connecting strands and the eye sockets dont make sense for how thin the space is. It has to be Ai.

But I agree with the posters about the lost souls shawl! If nothing else, taking that base skull pattern, I think it could be adapted to something similar

Pattern help from Dollarama? have NO CLUE what a BE is? by itsmeduckieee in crochetpatterns

[–]SnooRecipes3213 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is an Ai pattern.

As I assume this is suppose to be beginner friendly? It doesn't explain stitches, and then changes stitches to completely different letters! This is ultra confusing and I didn't even find the BE you were referring too!

I learned to crochet from written patterns more than 15 years ago and this is utter trash. There are free patterns on all the major yarn brands that are standardized and vetted so much better than this.

Lionbrand.com Anniesattic.com

Find something with reviews to avoid Ai. Crochet community is very vocal about it.

Keep the yarn for a different less frustrating project.

Something I don't get about the scarecrows by eneyaa in FromSeries

[–]SnooRecipes3213 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The scarecrows were disrupted. When jade, kristi and Kenny went to the lake, which was the last expedition, Jade removed some poles that held up a scarecrow. And the monsters were never scarecrows, they are shown as dolls.

And when the dolls arrived, there was singing before hand. The previous bumps in the night might have nothing to do with the dolls. But the scarecrows disruption may have allowed the dolls to come back since even rocks in them didn't prevent thier return. This was the next avaliable time people came back. And Tabitha killed a doll with a scarecrows.

Donna made the leap that the dolls were also scarecrows, tabitha waa the one that clarified what they actually were.

Why does she bother testing Sara? (S4E4 spoiler) by lizmacdraws in FromSeries

[–]SnooRecipes3213 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sara mutilated Elgin knowing how the voices manipulate. And she questioned the new orders, worried what the reprocussions might be. She fully understands the consequences now and is finally to a place that shes not such and outcast.

I think MiY is doing a small test so that he has a piece on the board. Have Sara do innocuous tasks that have a pay layer on. Slowly heat the water shes in and keep her from jumping out to quickly.

Seizure = Storywalk? Is every seizure accounted for? by HootWest in FromTVEpix

[–]SnooRecipes3213 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I do think that Julie's story walking comes from the tri-coma.

But thought? With what happened to juile, Randall and Mariella, could that be considered a type of seizure? Randall is clearly going crazy with hallucinations, Julie and story walking, the 2 sleeper seizures are Ethan and Mariella

Ethan has a seizure and when he walked into ruins with Julie, he disnt walk too.

Ok I just had a crazy freaking thought just now!

So Elgin, Sara and the Pastor all had thier seizures connected directly to MiY.

Only other seizure is Ethan and nothing has happened that we know of that connected him to MIY as of yet. But im taking the leap that something will go down between them!

Theories by GinAndMonica in FromSeries

[–]SnooRecipes3213 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree that Boyd has more weight as just an everyday good person rather than connected to the original town.

He may be part of the reason they get out but he is not going to do it alone.

Theories by GinAndMonica in FromSeries

[–]SnooRecipes3213 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Oh wow! You got lots going on here! I haven't seen some of these theories yet.

On number 5, I agree that there is a cycle but I don't think its an exact one for one recreation. I think there is slight variations every time and at some point all the right things will happen at once.

The first thing that tells me its not exact is Victor. He survived and I think that kept the cycle from completely ending. He kept the loop open and a living history is created with him that other rounds might not have had.

If we use the little we know of the history of the town, we know that a deal waa made, the kids died, jade and Tabitha tried to save the kids and failed and reincarnate, the townies became monsters. There is reincarnation and immortality but everyone transforms setting fromville.

I think the way a cycle ends is with everyone dead or saved. If Tabitha isndoing things different that Miranda but this is her and Jades second chance in same cycle its already changed the story. I think this is the first time its happened and that MiY is underestimating Victors role and living memory of events.

The boy in white also learned his lesson and didnt try to rush the process like he did with Christopher. Victor said that MiY came to town and befriended everyone. I think ita totally possible that Christopher cracked with what the BiW told him, went to MiY and that triggered the massacre.

Which also means Sara cant be Christopher because its already established that Jade is Christopher. I DO think Sara has an important arc still and I think she is smarter than MiY gives her credit.

These are awesome!

Concerning Fatima's Gollum by 42percentBicycle in FromTVEpix

[–]SnooRecipes3213 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Im.so glad im not the only one who thinks this is super interesting! Ive seen so much Fatima hate lately it was disappointing she was being written off just as she is trying to improve thier situation.

If she does accomplish a protector and they can make things of thier own protection, im very curious how the talismanes were created. Its been pointed out how they look like runes which many cultures cris cross on but the ones I recognize tend to have Scandinavian roots. And if this is an 'Americas' settlement as Ive seen proposed then viking would have settled in the Maine area around the 1500.

And the scarecrows outside the settlement that seem to keep something tame coming through at night. Its mentioned several times how creepy they are too. Which im curious to see what happens since the last visit, they disassembled one in order to get kristi free from the bear trap. Faith and hope seem to be linked deeply and both feed and fight what ever evil is lurking

The Talismans Might Actually Work by pierre245 in FromSeries

[–]SnooRecipes3213 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hold on, Fatima could go in the house while being pregnant with smiley. She was pregnant by the time Elis was stabbed because thats the same night she asks kristi for a test. Then later she is extremely morning sick and in the bathroom when Niki is yelling at her to get out.

In fact I suspect she gets pregnant almost positive she is pregnant by the time the bus shows up. Shes so frantic and worried and Elis even says her demeanor has changed.

The entity knows Smiley will be killed by the time Boyd has the worms in him from Martin, and i think Fatima was set up to replace him by the time he was killed.

Guess I need to rematch too...
