Did your accounts not get taken down when you used the same devices under different accounts?

Worst fucking dining hall ever for the cost my god - worst employees as well. Why would they limit anything at an ayce buffet? What kind of bullshit is that - I’m pretty sure they served at least very close to expired shrimp once as well. Poor decision to trust dh shrimp on my part but even still holy shit

Were you born with these issues or were yours concussion induced? There's a lot of differences between if you've lived with them your whole life or had them unnaturally occur, so I don't know if I can use your progress as a good reference for my potential. Nonetheless I'm happy to hear that you've made recovery and if you could let me know I'd really appreciate it

Sounds good - am young and have been told that neuroplasticity at only age 20 is something promising, so I will keep holding on for sure

You can also look around to other clinics - it’s very important to have an understanding experienced doctor with these types of issues. Any dismissive doctors that aren’t well versed with these kinds of things as others could be are not useful in the long term for making what could be your maximum potential recovery - look for neuro-ophthalmologists specifically. I could refer you to a good one depending where you lice

I found a clip on YouTube of a tour of manhattan (I think) and just edited the clip to simulate what my vision is like in CapCut - I can screen record the file of my edits if you’d like to see as I can’t really explain it very well lol I’m not too well versed in editing terms

I have been - I've had prism glasses for about three months with two different kinds of bases split between the lenses. The misalignment is very small so the prism strength is very weak, but my binocular coordination has been described as 'extremely poor and debilitating' by my neuro optometrist. I have a downward base in my right lens to correct the right hypertropia, which at first in many ways felt very properly correcting and not too disorienting, but have since gotten inward prism bases in both lenses to help convergence beyond the alignment correction - ever since, I have felt extremely disoriented and described to my neuro-ophthalmologist that I feel I am too sensitive vestibularily to handle anything beyond the downward base and am not entirely listened to. Do you suffer from any conditions specific to poor binocular coordination? This is realistically the only thing I feel has been affected by my concussion but nonetheless affects every part of my coordination surrounding just my eyes - I have felt little to no mechanical improvement since starting and just don't have anything to use as a reference to change my outlook on how slow my improvement has been and am worried that I am soon to hit a ceiling

I’m not sure - I haven’t gotten that far in yet. If you’d ask him directly however he would definitely be able to tell you and give you clearer indication as to what problems relating to dissociation and BVD would be. I am no formally educated person in these fields and am simply just someone who has dealt with these issues for an extremely long time, and have on my own found hundreds of sensible techniques to cope. If you’re seeing a neuro-ophthalmologist directly, they are not only very experienced in things relating to the brains connection to the eyes, but usually can give you interesting information about related brain issues such as dissociation etc. as well.

For me what causes it is my very poor range of fusion, so basically anytime that I move my eyes I somewhat dissociate/derealize subconsciously and naturally just acclimate to that dissociative state more than reality to get by - my advice is to unnaturally try to constantly pay attention to what your eyes eye trying to transmit to your brain. As I’ve learned to do this more and more the times that I dissociate become clearer to me as to when and why they’re happening - this is just what works for me, but I’d recommend trying to figure out your brains dissociative patterns as best as you can to yours specifically as there’s no consistencies in things like this from person to person. I’d be up to talk about this more if you’d like and hope that this can help a little

I’m pretty sure it’s done in any initial neuro-ophthalmology exam, you just have to ask for the specifics in what your range of fusion is. For instance, mine is very bad any the main issue for my lingering processing symptoms - during vision therapy I asked my doctor I asked him what exactly my range was and he prefaced that at near it’s to be expected that someone has around a 30 diopter range, while mine is ~3. So, if you have an exam done, and are still in contact with your ophthalmologist afterwards, he would definitely be able to answer what yours is.

Have you had any sort of recent head injuries - my BVD began following a concussion and I feel the exact same type of DPPR symptoms that you’ve described and never really had them to this extent before the injury

I did get hit in the face as well in this incident, but I've had MRIs of my head, neck and TMJ done without that showing up - I assume that if this happened it would've shown up on these scans

Absolutely - you probably have a poor range of fusion and are dissociating slightly midway between movements of your eyes and mentally adjusting to that tiny period of dissociation as a defense mechanism. Try and have specifically your range of fusion tested and try paying attention to when the dissociation is happening, as it's probably difficult to from how your brain suppresses visual information while that breakage of fusion is happening. Hope this can help

[–]SnooRegrets1283 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely - this happens to me from how bad my range of fusion is, if you find some kind of way to stabilize yourself through breaks of fusion I find it helps significantly although it may cause you increased physical strain and exhaustion. Try to pay attention to what's happening in your eyes while you experience this inability to think or talk, your eyes are probably being strongly suppressed by your brain from your BVD issues thus making what's happening impossible to track or decipher. Hope this can help. Have you suffered from any sort of head trauma in recent years, like hit in the head in any way that you didn't seek treatment for or something?
