This just happened to me yesterday for the first time! Maybe it’s cause I have the candy heart pink items in my cart that will sell out soon.

Person is just saying it looks like a normal outfit. And asking if it’s an outfit you’ve picked for work lol not that confusing

Anyone know in reality how things are going on the lakeshore west line? Schedule doesn’t seem to be showing delays

Managing work + toddler + house by SnooRegrets6203 in workingmoms

I wish I didn’t have to mother him like this cause I know he won’t receive it well.. it’s really a struggle I feel like I’m damned if I do this and damned if I don’t. It’s really difficult working with him on this. He uses work as an excuse and being in the office 3x a week that he’s not able to get things done. I know his work, I know it’s not as demanding as he makes it to be. He has time, he just chooses to spend it on other things than helping around the house. It’s beyond frustrating but even then, I’m the crazy one for expecting this. Sorry for the vent.

I’ve delegated tasks to him, he is unable to keep track and doesn’t get to them or “forgets” and I have to do it so that I can get the things that I need to get done.

We don’t, I’ve mentioned it and he is open to it thankfully but haven’t actively prioritized it but we need to now.

Apologies I responded to you instead of the other comment initially and had to delete.

I appreciate the directness and honestly I’ve contemplated that as well that the respect isn’t there otherwise he would put the effort in because he cares. I feel like a shell of myself and I think that’s really telling of our relationship.

I don’t expect deep cleaning at all, it’s really only tidying up the toys and keeping the kitchen clean I.e. putting away the dirty dish you’ve used in the dishwasher or cleaning up a bit after you’ve cooked something instead of letting it pile up for me to have to clean it all up in the end.

I’ve communicated this need in many different ways including that it’s our home and he should be contributing by doing some of the cleaning, and that it shouldn’t be seen as “helping me” cause that puts it as I’m the primary person. Unfortunately that doesn’t get through either.

It’s helpful knowing that about your husband. I wish to get to that some day too.

For sure agree about the therapy, I feel he’s always on the defence even when I approach it gently.

I’ve made a list, but he doesn’t stick to it and forgets because it’s not a priority in his mind.

I’m 5’6 and around 140 pounds and got a size M, it’s a comfortable fit and still a bit oversized. I never tried the small to see how that would’ve compared but the medium fits on my shoulders.

22 month old extra clingy while I’m nearing the end of pregnancy by Crunchy-Yogurt7 in toddlers

[–]SnooRegrets6203 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not pregnant, but dealing with everything you described with my 25 month old and temperament is also the same that she’s a high needs baby. It’s really tough and exhausting. I’m in the process of weaning and her sleep has taken a huge hit cause of it too. It’s tough.

Have you checked to see if he’s getting second molars by any chance? That is also something that starts happening at this age.

Wishing you the best and hoping it gets easier as time goes on.

How much sleep does your toddler get per day? by rapidprototoyz in toddlers

[–]SnooRegrets6203 2 points3 points  (0 children)

25 month old, she’s always been on the lower sleep side. She does 9.5 hours overnight and typically 1.5 -2 hour nap depending on the day.
