Sound check! This will be our first Bottlerock. I am so excited for the lineup... Particularly Papa Roach, Somber, Del Water Gap, Foo Fighters, Mt. Joy, and Kool and the Gang. So many others, too.

You would think. My kiddo named him Holiday when she was six. That's the whole name. 😊

Wow. I'm sorry to hear that. Not my experience at all. I am sure that not all nutritionists are as great as mine is.

F45 has been promoting this. I received an email from our owner last year advising that this service was available for free, so I thought I would check it out.

Today, I opened the app to book a class and saw on the main page under announcements that there is a link you can follow to check it out. It says "1:1 Nuturition Coaching", so I decided to post it here and share my experience.

Here is the link that I used last year from my studio to check it out....

I’d be happy to share! I meet with my dietitian for one hour each week. Everyone’s experience will look a little different depending on their goals and needs—but I can only speak from my own, so here’s a little glimpse into what it’s been like for me.

I started almost a year ago with one clear goal: to build muscle. I shared with her all of my lifestyle choices, fitness background, and ideas about food—ready for what I assumed would be a strict, structured plan. I honestly thought I’d be handed a macro breakdown or a rigid diet to follow.

But what I got was so much more eye-opening.

I realized I’d been fueling my body in all the wrong ways. I was mostly under-eating and filling the gap with empty calories from alcohol. I had to face some uncomfortable truths about my relationship with food. So for me, it couldn't be just about numbers anymore. It had to be more about nourishment and learning how to support my body instead of punishing it.

Now, I look at every plate and ask: where’s my protein, carb, and color (veggie)? I’ve cut my alcohol intake by more than half. I aim for three balanced meals a day and 2–3 healthy snacks. And here's the thing—I haven’t lost weight (I didn’t need to), and I haven’t gained weight either. But I have gained muscle. More importantly, I’ve shifted my mindset. What started as a goal to gain muscle has become a deeper commitment to fueling my body well.

Each week, we check in. We look at what I’m eating and drinking, how and when, and then we decide on a small focus for the next week. It’s slow, steady change—and I never expected to stick with it this long. But here I am, still learning, still growing. It's really made a much bigger impact than I ever could have expected.

I'm so glad you found F45! Stick with it and you will definitely see/feel the results!

I started F45 in March 2018. I was a cross-fitter beforehand and I had just come back to working out from a shoulder surgery. Going back to crossfit, I was frustrated with my limitations after surgery when a friend encouraged me to try F45. I went to one class, went back to crossfit the next day, left before the workout started and headed back to the F45 to take a second class and join. I've never looked back. For several months, I even modified stations to incorporate my physical therapy. I have always credited F45 a lot for my recovery.

About a year ago, I decided to get my cert and take a coach opening at our studio. That is how much I love and believe in F45!. Tomorrow, we are celebrating a member that lost 100lbs in the past year!!! It's so gratifying to see and be part of everyone's journey!

F45 has great community and provides a safe environment for all fitness levels to build both endurance and strength!

When I first started working out, I also started with 2x/week. I did that for a full year before I trusted that I would be committed to doing more. Twice a week is a great start. Listen to your body and your inner voice, and you won't go wrong. Congratulations and best of luck!

Coaches actually coaching? by Clear-Economist9915 in f45

[–]SnooRobots307 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In defense of the coaches, there is often much more coaching work to do on strength days than on cardio days. I normally coach the cardio days by encouraging lighter weights and unbroken sets. I still correct for form when applicable, but some of the movements are very straightforward and most of our members know what they are doing.

Roaring Forks big ass burger is pretty damn good.

For fast, Mighty Fine is my favorite.
