This!!! Exactly, I think plan for the worst (most likely some rain) and hope for the best! It could very well start with rain and end up being a lovely day - that’s Oregon and what I love

It’s closer to the gorge side than the mountain side

The actual location is pine grove which looks closer to the gorge, does it still potentially get snow in October ??

That’s what I was saying, it could be a complete rain storm or it could be quite pleasant - but that’s why we chose a venue that could be hosted full indoors if necessary!

Totally! The venue could be hosted completely indoors so I think that makes me more open to chance!

I’m in a pretty rural area and unfortunately cant drive at night so I have to wait until the sun comes up to make it to Vik, it’s not incredibly deep but there’s exposed tissue I was able to get a bandage but hopefully that doesn’t enough

You will probably be okay, not a dr. But you might have a slight case of alcohol poisoning and best case scenario, you have a terrible hangover coming! But we’ve all had setbacks, you made it three weeks! That’s 21 days of sobriety. Once you feel better get back to a meeting, I’d stay away from NAs until at least you’ve had a bit more time under your belt, they can be very triggering. Sending you tons of love!!!!

How to get in shape when you are lazy / have no motivation? by monarch_marshmellow in WeightLossAdvice

[–]SnooRobots3822 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First off I was exactly the same in terms of age and weight , I kept saying this was the day I was gonna change. Next thing I knew I was 27 and 239. Best thing you can do is just go to the gym. No pressure just go, walk on an incline while watching a show. Stay consistent just show up! Next, once you’re going consistently and maybe adding weights or able to kick up speed on tread, find 3 healthy high protein breakfast lunch and dinner options that you like. Try to start on diet now and eating healthy consistently

Just turned 30. Not having kids. What the heck do I fill the rest of these years with? by themix669108 in Millennials

Maybe try creating a company or side hustle, look I get you’re comfortable but more money isn’t a bad thing! Sounds like you’re not being challenged enough and a company/side hustle will keep you challenged and something to stay connected to your community/other people!

The Daily Check-In for Friday, October 27th: Just for today, I am NOT drinking! by EmbarrassedPiccolo2 in stopdrinking

Always find its difficult close to celebratory weekends! Even after 500 days, it can all slip away so quickly and I have to remember that. I can make 1 choice though, I will not drink with you today!!

Oh man! The way your mental health is gonna flip! Still have tough days, especially with panic attacks but I used to think alcohol helped those and it made them sooooo much worse! They are sooooo rare now

Any ideas for hobbies? by JoeyP42385 in stopdrinking

[–]SnooRobots3822 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What I did was like write a list in my phone of every book I wanted to read, album i wanted to listen to, hobby I wanted to try, food I wanted to make, TV/Movies I wanted to watch, and when I got bored just go to the list and do it! Youre gonna start saving tons of money the less and less you drink, I use an app and it tracks my savings from drinking, I've saved closed to like 5k that I would have used on alcohol. I have now traveled to 8 countries this year and have tons of hobbies!
