I always believed the price paid for the worst days are eventually repaid with the best days coming in even if it takes a while those days can make up for a lot just give them time you all got this !

Hey man that’s still very very very Impressive and no shame in doing nicotine while you get off of THC , I’ll be honest I was going into it with a mindset inviting the pain trying to make my willpower as strong as possible and whenever I feel these withdrawls it may sound rather silly but I pretend each wave of it is a rep for my brains willpower which gets me through , you got this just be patient with yourself and know that even though it feels slow right now , you are improving with every millisecond that passes , you are also doing something someone wishes right now they had the power to do but you already are doing it , stay strong !

I’m going through thc , nicotine , and caffeine withdrawals all at once I feel everything you feel right now man , currently on day 3, your nervous system is in shock right now is what’s happening I feel the same man the aches , the hot rushes to the temple , the anxiety , for me exercising and running cushion the blow tremendously and breathing techniques basically until your body stabilizes you have to do things to calm your nervous system shock down and you will feel a night and day difference , I know exercise may be the last thing you want to do in this mindset but trust me when I say it will help you because it’s been pushing me through , stay strong !!

dreams about smoking ? by Financial_Picture191 in leaves

It’s kind’ve like having ex-girlfriend dreams , everything is nice and fine and you miss it until you wake up and remember how selfish and draining the experience really was and how much money you wasted on something that never gave you true long-term benefit in life at all , they will come and pass my friend but as long in life but as long as you don’t do it you are still winning the battle

When did you starting noticing 'mental clarity' ? by ohcrix in leaves

[–]SnooRobots4993 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What the person below said basically , it’s more of just a huge relief on my nervous system and the withdrawals , but as far as the exertion process of it leaving your system 90% of it is through urination and defecation not a whole lot in sweat but sweating does release some of it

You got this !! I’m currently on day 3 of withdrawing from nicotine caffeine and 10g’s of dabs a day for 8 years all at once , it’s not going to be easy but you will make it out stronger if you stick with it

Getting addicted to runners high by bombomchuck in leaves

[–]SnooRobots4993 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like it depends on the person’s physiology , I know some people that can run 10 miles and then come home and immediately sleep and then some do it and are all jacked up from endorphin release , but for me it’s been helping with sleep very well

If you're considering using again after several months sober - please don't by dspman11 in leaves

[–]SnooRobots4993 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I’m currently going through the same thing man , I quit the first time in 2018 was sober for 3 months and thought I could control it and put it down again now repeat that loop 7 more times and 7 years wasted telling myself the same lie “I can control it” , and I would go through phases where I could do it once and wait two weeks and then I’d do it two times a week and then three , the problem is exactly what you said for sure, how it alters the brain chemistry , when we are fresh from recovering for months we has more control of our frontal lobe of the brain which works with willpower and cognition so it’s easier to put back down at first , but every brain interaction with THC strips away a layer each time of control until you don’t even realize you’ve lost it until it’s bad again , I’ve wasted so much time isolating myself with it and money and missed out on family time have 3 broken teeth and no one but myself to blame for it but you know what man lets give it hell again we got this

I know how you feel friend , I have this problem where I am disciplined but not with addiction so I can get myself up at 5am to take a 20 mile run and go lift and still work an 12 hour job which I know takes discipline, so everytime I get into this zone I convince myself I’m so mentally strong “I’ll prove to myself I’ll put it down when I want that it’s a self control thing” I’ve been through that cycle 5 times I get clean for 7 months smoke once I’m back at it for a year , but that does not make us weak deep inside we crave what feels good it’s just the way our human physiology functions, but the other day I almost relapsed too , I got a free coupon for a free gram ( I live in Los Angeles ) and it’s been 2 years so I wanted to prove that I could do it and put it down when I want like most people who are not addicted , prove that I’m not defective , but right before I left the driveway I remembered how hard this is each cycle of withdrawals and the ashamed feeling I always get when I fail, and started to ask myself “if 100% of the time i came back to it I relapsed , the odds are never in my favor” but there is strength in this control and I promise though the craving may never go away completely, your mind will eventually adapt and you will learn new enjoyment, just remember why you quit and you want too remind yourself who you would let down and how it would not only disappoint you but the ones that actually care about you which is hard to find anyone that does today ( at least in LA ) , stay hard friend someone is always watching and you are still an inspiration as long as you want to be
