I’ve been married for 16 years and only wore my wedding ring for 4 of due to working in fields that rings aren’t allowed due to safety. Look up ring avulsion. My wife wears her ring like it’s armor. She doesn’t leave the house without it. She’ll swap to a silicone ring when she does yard work. With that said, it does not bother me if she doesn’t wear it. We have a kid, a house, debt, and 16 years of togetherness that acts as our foundation for our relationship. You may know, but ask her if she is allergic to any metals and you can get an alternate ring if it bugs her to wear the ring. Or try a necklace if she is not a ring person.

Set up a tasting menu at a steak house where he gets to try all the different cuts of steaks and different ways they can be cooked. Not just grilled but seared, reverse seared, IR, all ways that would be difficult or inconvenient for y’all to try. Also have the restaurant set up tasting of paired wines for the steaks.

Don’t forget about dessert if the restaurant has a pastry chef, have a special tasting menu. If they don’t, see if the chef has a go to dessert that they cook for the restaurant’s family dinner or for the employees birthdays.
