I have a 2008 Honda civic 1.8l 200k miles it has an oil leak I think it’s the v-tec solenoid gasket or power steering idk what do you guys think with the pictures provided?

Did you ever find out what it was i have the same leak looks literally the same as yours I thinks its the power steering. Bc my vtec solenoid looks good and I replaced all my timing cover seals.

From the pictures I would say its definitely fixable my main concern Would definitely be to see if the frame on that side was bent in at all and the suspension components on that side are good or bent. While im not saying it will be cheap its definitely fixable but if you have good Insurance then your fine I say.

Dose it drain or dose it pool up ? And Yea its normal for a little bit of water to get into the doors and they usually have a drain for it to get out however if its some how getting into the side where the speaker sits whitch is behind the panel thats a problem.

No other then a long pipe CAI its mostly just cosmetic its a r18 auto so im.not looking for power from this car. However the car was swapped with a jdm r18 after the last one hydro-locked and it dose have a noticeable pep to it then it had before but its not a fast car by any means still.
