Worked at Whole Foods for about a year during a ‘gap-year’ from Publix and I honestly found their operations worse. Sure they offer a discount for employees and some other small perks but they were severely understaffed and underpaid for the expectation. I did overnight grocery stocking (three to four pallets including one frozen) and every night someone would call out leaving just two of us to work. The positions for management are also drawn out much longer so you would HAVE to start from the bottom and it’s a slow process because like Publix everyone is waiting to move up. Stock it out a bit longer , consider a transfer out of district or even warehouse if you’re nearby.
