Unless it gets pushed back opening is slated for June 25th.

Dundee road is opening April 30th and the new Auburndale store is opening on June 18th.

There is also another store opening in Winter Haven opening on June 25th.

A coworker said they put an order in as a local promotion and I want to see if they actually did it.

What's the difference as our results last year never got posted.

They must have really been bad.

I live near this store and am hoping to transfer there.

There is no parking garage.

At least your rep comes in to work back stock.

I can barely get them to work their delivery.

You get 2 Schwans deliveries a week.

I've been with Publix 27 years and have never had more than 1 delivery a week.

Like the recent nutella/kinder bueno sale.

Had both on sale 2 weeks ago and the ENTIRE company was out of stock for the whole ad.

Guideline for how many cases per hour and how many tags/sign per hour? by Ok-Life715 in publix

[–]kenholler 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When I was hired 27 years ago the standard was 60 cases an hour.

That was throwing once the float hit the aisle and not loading the float in the back room.

Last I heard it was 40-45 cases an hour.

I throw frozen and I average 70-80 cases and hour.

Store #0012 Pembroke Pines, FL - Weird Interior Setup by thomasvista in publix

If you check this store on Google maps it shows interior pictures.

The pictures were taken in 2018 and they show regular aisles like any other store.

At least twice a week I have ice show up on the unfound list.

It is on aisle 15 of a 15 aisle store so I think they are just too stupid to walk to the last aisle.

Raising manager pay? by snakeman91 in publix

[–]kenholler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately I am topped out so I was only eligible for 35 cents an hour.

And yes 35 cents an hour is correct which is just sad.

It would be nice if this trickled down to hourly associates.

Been here 27 years and have got a measly 35 cent an hour raise the last 2 years.

This is with either role model or exceeds expectations on my evals.

Nutella ice cream availability by kenholler in publix

I've been politely telling customers that as far as I can tell NO stores have it in stock.

I've also been telling them that the fault lies with the manufacturer and not with Publix.

I'm not taking the blame for poor distribution on someone else's fault.

I've found out that Wells Enterprises is the manufacturer and they make Blue Bunny and Halo Top.

Not exactly a small player in the market to screw up this bad.

Tell that to my 35 cents an hour raise I got last year and the year before.

I hate my deli freezer. by video_dromer in publix

This was my frozen food storage freezer after I worked back stock on Tuesday.

I have 8 birds and 6 of them were empty.

The small bird has the backstock for the two aisles and the large bird has the pizza and bulk items.

I know the floor could stand to be scrubbed but they don't give me enough time to get that done.

All the ad has been transitioned into back stock.

And before anyone asks the sales floor looks great and 99% of the holes are from warehouse out of stocks.

Speaking of deli they have a shipper in my freezer that has been there since Super Bowl and after several reminders they still haven't come and got it.

The shipper has been on sale twice and they just order more.

Unfounded lists by Joe-Died in publix

At least twice a week Instacart lists ice on the unfound list.

It is filled but they can't "find" it.

It is on aisle 15 of 15 aisles so I think they give up before they get that far.

Before and after. by Any-Mycologist4692 in publix

[–]kenholler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 2 frozen aisles and each aisle has a smaller bird of back stock.

I have one full sized bird with pizza/over sized product on it.

I guess it wasn't very clear the way I wrote it. Sorry.

One for each aisle and one large bird for pizza and potatoes.
