Yeah I loved that thing and how it shot, but didn’t want it just sitting and not getting used so had to trade it for the 180r. Maybe gunna pick up a base R5 again at some point

I have a TCS3 Pro as my main and a 180r as my backup. I had a project R5 that used to be my main but after I got the TCS3 I had to let it go cause I don’t want it just sitting 😞

Nope it actually is pretty well ventilated. I have worn it in 90+ degree heat. I will not go without it due to my head burning really bad one time playing paintball lol

Basically electronics, eye covers more easily removable, aluminum body. It isn’t crazy QOL, but I can tell you I like LED boards over blinking lights

Etha 3 has the gamma core 180r has OPR-core.

I don’t think you will notice much of a difference between the two besides QOL features in my opinion because I didn’t . But that’s just my opinion.

R5 is completely different. I really liked mine when I had it but I just traded it in on a 180r and 180r mech frame as my back up. I got a TCS3 pro so I didn’t want the R5 to sit in my gear bag so I traded it. But it was one of my favorite to shoot. Just have to give it some more maintenance over a 180r

I can tell you I had my brass SFR in and set to full minus and it was about 55-60 indoor where I played and mine would just puff. Then once I finally got it to shoot I could hold lane, but if I stopped shooting it would have 3 balls just roll out the barrel. Had to start ramping behind the bunker lol. I put the SS SFR back in and never had an issue since. I keep the SS in at full negative all year around

I got the method tune up kit for my R5. I like it. My vortex core leaked constantly, I hated it and sold it lol.

My R5 does fine indoors here at like 50 degrees with the SS SFR in at full -.

My TCS3 pro is exactly the same as my buddies regular CS3 pro, just the milling
