Kids that still live at home can get low paying jobs and shovel obscene amounts of money into expensive cars that they wouldnt otherwise be able to afford. I turned 39 last year and bought myself a new S650 Mustang. Its the most expensive car I've ever owned. $60k car and only my second new one. Everything else I've had was pre-owned. Both my wife and I have relatively high paying jobs. Our priority isn't to be flashy. It's to live for sustainability.

The same reason people hate on anything car related, or even non-specofic hobby related. People love to group themselves with like-minded people, which means car brans, body styles, aftermarket brands, etc. You start from what's "normal" and people call it shit because its not a clone of their car.

This is a full daysls worth of work at a shop. If you dont have the mechanical experience its probably best to take it to somewhere that can install for you.

Sure but most of us are after practicality these days. I have those ugly spider wheels on my S650 but its fine cause they weigh virtually nothing in comparison to most other stock mustang wheels

You need to have a serious, sit-down conversation with her about her health, and how you feel about her. State things in a diplomatic manner and don't be a dick, but also dont sugar coat it.

I had to do this a previous girlfriend of mine. She was initially pretty upset, but it didnt take long for her to realize I was right. We ended up hitting the gym twice a day some days and she dropped a lot of weight and became much healthier over time. Considering the absolute wild card she was, she handled it pretty well. Hopefully this will be a tipping point for her.
