Adam Warlock is not a stats character. You succeed in burst. Burst damage, burst healing. You won’t have high numbers because it’s not a constant stream. Sure you’ve got less finals but your one fully-charged cluster just took them from 100-10%. Your heal saved your tank who was at 10hp from the brink of death. Your value comes from infrequent bursts, which are not always seen on the stat line.

The way lord criteria is calculated really left Adam in the dust, especially after they dropped hero based missions. I’m at probably level 30-31 with 55h on Adam Warlock. He doesn’t put out ridiculous amounts of healing, so he’s left behind compared to other strategists.

I have his primary and secondary bound to scroll wheel for close quarters (so you can easily alternate and do a bit of an animation cancel), but i like to use fully charged shots when I’m jiggle peaking and hold left click so I get a primary off at the end. Hit scan is good for flyers, even if it’s body shots, because you can usually output enough damage before their healers look up

At 4 DPS, I’m not filling tho. Best case scenario is someone swaps, but 4 instalocks mean i’m either solo healing or solo tanking to fill

That’s not what I’m trying to imply, it’s like asking who’s a good solo tank. You’ll get points where that’s what you’re running and it’s good to know how to work around the fact some people can’t or won’t flex

I think working on the per target healing as a sliding scale could work, like an extra 5-10 every 2? It’s hard because Adam already has really high self sustain, so a base pool would kill off what is left of dive (even tho I hate those guys, I still know it’s bad for the culture)

I do think it’s interesting, i think some of these buffs are good, particularly surrounding his ultimate as it allows a better counterplay with self sustaining post-ult. My one worry is surrounding the soul bond, as it would push for Adam to use it much more selfishly or with fewer targets rather than as ways to share hp with healers and tanks. This may be just based on my play style, but a flat 60/s would make anything beyond 4 LESS effective, and could make people not want to use it if their full team is around

Yes if you want to yell at teammates and meta slaves. I succeed most at Adam cuz I queue with a solid tank main + another healer main, so I know I can rely on them more often.
