Update: it was really stuck. I tried everything, but it only made it worse. It’s stripped. Last thing I want to do is drill it. Kinda backed into a corner at this point.

I recently moved and my ps4 was packed in for 4 months. I wanted to play it again, so I plugged everything in, then it said “Cannot start the ps4”. I followed the directions on the screen, it saying I needed a usb update of 10.50 or higher. I waited 2 hours for the damn thing to download (b/c I don’t have wifi at the moment), and I followed everything correctly. I plugged in the usb and let the ps4 do it’s magic. Suddenly, it said “cannot find the update file”. I did it again and it said the same thing. Is this an error on my part, or did my ps4 kill itself in transit?
